Business Integrated Governance (BIG) for Product, Projects, Programmes and Portfolios , is a model that explains how to connect from strategic drivers to the operational parts of the organisation and those that focus on implementing change. It explains the importance of regular reviews and a logical approach to managing the underlying data that supports decision-making processes.  

There are many drivers for change for an organisation that could benefit from BIG, and they may warrant some or all of the BIG components in some or all of the organisation domains. 

Whether the solution is pieced together from tactical steps, or driven with a vision, the key is to establish will to do something, illustrate there is potential to benefit, and ability to achieve. Once those building blocks are in place, BIG is just about execution, adoption and sustainment just like any other change.
